PART 1—BEYOND DOMINATION: KINK IN THE GLOW OF VESTA:
Beyond the binary of master and servant or top and bottom, there is devotion. Join us for an electric workshop as we establish parameters for consensual play where partners pleasure each other as an offering to the larger archetypal energies they are each devoted to. Whether you are a devotee of emotional intimacy, slippery spontaneity or just the joy of learning itself - there is a satisfying kink for you lit by the glow of Vesta. Associated with the flame stoked by dedication and service, the astrological placement of Vesta in our natal charts offers gorgeous clues as to how we can center devotion as a framework rather than domination while still working the somatic and psychological edges we love. We will discuss the value of centering devotion as kinky folks who may be aging, on the ace spectrum, ill or disabled, bipoc and/or trauma survivors, as well as kinky folks playing with partners who embody different social power and mobility than we do. Whether you are simply curious or an experienced player seeking a fresh frame for your practice, there's something for everyone in the glow of Vesta.
PART 2—BEYOND DOMINATION: KINK FOR THE ELEMENTS:
We will reconvene in Part II to broaden the range of techniques we can offer our partners. In Kink for the Elements, you'll learn fundamentals of practices which are in service to archetypal energies which go down and in - like earth and water - or move up and out, like air and fire. Participants will come away with a collection of kink practices specifically curated to resonate with the archetypal energies they are devoted to.

Indira Allegra is a social psychopomp accompanying people, places and non-human beings through cycles of death, memorial and regeneration. Their projects, performances and installations draw from an investigation of inner space, animism and the ritual, relational and performative aspects of weaving.
Allegra's combination of past experiences as a sex worker, sign language interpreter, domestic violence counselor and yoga instructor allow them to work with the tension of human and nonhuman experience as creative material. Their work has been featured in ARTFORUM, Art Journal and Emergency Index Vol. 8 among others.
