Jupiter In Gemini Astro & Activism Research Project

Embodied Astrology is hosting a participatory research project over the duration of Jupiter’s transit through Gemini (June 2024-July 2025). Ramon Gabrielloff Parish and Renee Sills have initiated a co-led, collaborative process of looking into the past and the future in order to study the cycles of the outer planets and devise astrological timelines and strategies that catalyze imaginal, collaborative, progressive activism and institutional transformation.

We’re looking for folks who are interested in co-leading and collaborating with us, mapping astrological cycles of movements, struggles, revolutions, uprisings and creative resistance. To join this project, please complete the application below.

We hold group meetings on a semi regular basis between 2-4 times per month, participants are also encouraged to meet in smaller groups as often as desired and/or to initiate additional group meetings. Participants may also conduct research on a self-directed basis outside of our group meetings.

About Ramon Gabrieloff-Parish

Ramon Gabrieloff-Parish is a lifelong star gazer, Afrofuturist philosopher, practicing astrologer, social artist and creative ceremonialist. His current project is to utilize the many outer planetary alignments of the 2020's as catalysts for imaginal, collaborative and institutional transformation.

In his day job as a chair of Naropa University’s Interdisciplinary Studies department he focuses on the intersections of equity and sustainability through courses on food and environmental justice. He also teaches foundations in contemplative learning and theory, embodiment, social identity, and conflict transformation.

Ramon is committed to community, cultural and cosmic regeneration, through his consulting work with Once and Future Green and with organizations like Golden Bridge, Youth Passageways and recently as board chair of Frontline Farming.
