We're excited for our class this Saturday! Our new quarterly format is designed to focus on the astrology of an entire season. Learn about Aries, Taurus, and Gemini: their affiliated body parts and functions, what they're up to in the heavens right now, what it means for you, and how to work with it. Astrology gives us the tools to creatively work with our challenges and be awesomely empowered to grab hold of opportunities when they arise!
This weekend we'll explore movement, journaling, games, and energy medicine as ways to work with the unique energy of each sign and its ruling planet. Bring your journal, wear comfortable clothes and tell your friends!
Astrology is the study of light and the effect of light and radiance upon our bodies, spirits, sensations and perceptions. Each of the four seasons is comprised of three distinct qualities of light; the light that begins the season, the light that is the full expression of the season, and the light that is changing to the next season. These qualities are known in astrology as 'cardinal' 'fixed' and 'mutable'.
In this half day workshop we will explore the three qualities of spring and the zodiac signs that express them; Aries, Taurus and Gemini. Students will learn about the anatomy, physiology, and body affiliations of each sign and its ruling planet, and through yoga, meditation, and energy medicine we will practice simple remedial techniques for addressing imbalances and disturbances in each sign. Journaling and creative processes will be part of our practice and students will take home their astrology charts with personalized practices for their unique needs.
Regardless of your sun sign, everyone's astrology chart contains every sign and every planet. Embodying the Zodiac helps you understand the unique constellation that you are, as well as practical tools for working with the astrology of each season. This workshop is open to all levels of experience- from absolute beginners to adept students of the stars, come to play, learn, share and grow together.
